The theme for the day is sheep! And there is something for everyone.
Everything Sheep: Eat it. Use it. Wear it.
We would love to see what you bring for display. Weaving, Spinning, Felting, Cooking, Leatherworking, Soap making - it's all welcome. Don't sweat the documentation, this is just about sharing sheep-related handiwork! The Populace members will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite items.
Alternative Sheep
Dress that adorable dog up as a sheep for the amusement of others! Also a prize. But let's be honest... it's more about the amusement.
Pull the Wool Over Our Eyes
In this Bardic challenge, storytellers are asked to share their most believable untrue story! You have to convince your captive audience, and judges, that the totally untrue story is completely believable. The more outrageous, the better!
Dance Class
There will be TWO dance classes offered for both beginners and intermediate dancers. This class is great for the whole family.
Lucet Weaving
Learn the craft of weaving beautiful cords and belts with this fun and easy art! Loaner lucets will be available. Space is limited.
Japanese Book Binding
For those interested in making books, Japanese stab bindings are an ideal place to start. They are simple, don't require many tools, and are endlessly customizable. Stab bindings are especially useful for binding single sheets of paper with either soft or hard covers. In this class we will make soft covers as this is more period.
Beginners Circle Cloak
$5.00 fee.
Learn how to make a simple and functional circle cloak for cold weather events. Great for those who don't sew. You get your own short circle cloak at the end of the class! Space is limited to 15, but observers are welcome.

Spoon Weaving
Have you ever wanted to throw a spoon at your friend and make something at the same time? This one takes two people and you get to make trim to take home.
SCA 101
Everything you could need or want to know about the SCA! Great for newcomers or even those who have been around a bit, but would like a little history or a better understanding of the how and the why.
Introduction to Medieval Fishing
An overview discussion of fishing in Europe from the fall of the Roman Empire through the 14th Century. Some regional customs and religious customs surrounding fishing and it's practices.
Historical Fishing Equipment
The Medieval Angler: what did they use? How did they use it? What was it made of? And when were they allowed to use it?
